SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 162
BY SENATOR MARIONNEAUX 
A RESOLUTION
To express the sincere condolences of the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana upon the
death of Terry Lynn Moore Grace.
WHEREAS, it is with great sadness that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
has learned of the passing of Terry Lynn Moore Grace on June 20, 2011; and 
WHEREAS, Terry Lynn Moore was born November 12, 1962, in Baton Rouge, as
the only child of the union of Ruth Moore Richard and Hurd L. Robinson Sr.; and 
WHEREAS, she was baptized at an early age by the late Reverend Frank Winder,
pastor of the Greater St. John Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, where she joined fellowship;
and 
WHEREAS, Terry Lynn Moore was reared in the public schools of East Baton
Rouge Parish and was a 1980 graduate of McKinley Senior High School; and
WHEREAS, on May 10, 1986, Terry Lynn married Ronald W. Grace and to this
union two sons were born, Ronald W. Grace Jr. and Rashad W. Grace; and
WHEREAS, she was employed with the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board with
over twenty-eight years in food service; and
WHEREAS, Terry Lynn Moore Grace joined fellowship with the New Jerusalem
Full Gospel Baptist Church, under the leadership of Bishop Eugene Harris where she served
as member of the Deaconess Board #2 and served in constant faithful support of her pastor;
and
WHEREAS, she was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Moore Richard;
grandparents, Alfred Moore Sr. and Elner Jackson Moore; grandparents Burrel and Maud
Robinson; and father-in-law Hayward Grace Jr.; and a sister Terry Denton; and
WHEREAS, Terry Lynn Moore Grace leaves to cherish her memories her devoted
husband, Ronald W. Grace Sr.; two sons, Ronald W Grace Jr. and Rashad W. Grace; her
father, Hurd L. Robinson Sr.; a brother Hurd L. Robinson Jr.; mother-in-law Lucille J.
Lodge; a godchild, D'Lana Knighten and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends;

WHEREAS, Terry Lynn Moore Grace adored her family, catering to their every need
as a devoted wife and mother, and a caring and loving daughter, sister, niece, and friend; and
WHEREAS, while her death leaves a tremendous void, her memory will live forever
in the lives of her family and friends.
 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby extend condolences to the family of Terry Lynn Moore Grace on the occasion
of her death.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Ronald W. Grace Sr.
