Abstract: Creates an exception to the prohibition against carrying firearms in an alcoholic

$500, a term of imprisonment for not more than six months, or both.
Present law contains exceptions for the owner or lessee of the establishment, an employee
of the establishment, or a law enforcement officer acting in the performance of his official

Proposed law retains the provisions of present law and creates an additional exception for
off-duty law enforcement officers who are not consuming alcohol.
