Regular Session, 2012 HOUSE BILL NO. 33 BY REPRESENTATIVE BROSSETT RETIREME NT/LOCAL: Authorizes the merger of the Harbor Police Retirement System into the La. State Employees' Retirement System AN ACT1 To enact R.S. 11:3681.1, relative to the Harbor Police Retirement System and the Louisiana2 State Employees' Retirement System; to authorize the merger of the Harbor Police3 Retirement System into the Hazardous Duty Services Plan of the Louisiana State4 Employees' Retirement System; and to provide for related matters.5 Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published6 as provided by Article III, Section 13 and Article X, Section7 29(C) of the Constitution of Louisiana.8 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:9 Section 1. R.S. 11:3681.1 is hereby enacted to read as follows:10 ยง3681.1. Merger11 The Harbor Police Retirement System may merge into the Hazardous Duty12 Services Plan of the Louisiana State Employees' Retirement System.
