APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT: Appropriates funds for payment of judgment in the
matter of "Rebecca Duet v. DOTD through the State of La."
AN ACT1
To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2012-2
2013 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Rebecca Duet v.3
Department of Transportation and Development through the State of Louisiana"; and4
to provide for related matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. The sum of Three Thousand Five Hundred and No/100 ($3,500.00)7
Dollars is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal8
Year 2012-2013 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Rebecca Duet9
v. Department of Transportation and Development through the State of Louisiana", bearing10
Number 693-927, Division "N", on the docket of the Twenty-Fourth Judicial District Court,11
parish of Jefferson, state of Louisiana.12
Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2012; if vetoed by the governor13
and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,14
2012, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later. 15 HLS 12RS-1069 ORIGINAL
