Regular Session, 2012 HOUSE BILL NO. 333 BY REPRESENTATIVE JOHNSON SUPPLEMENTAL PAY: Increases the number of authorized Tunica-Biloxi tribal officers eligible for supplemental pay AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 33:2218.2(F)(2), relative to supplemental compensation for2 certain law enforcement personnel; to increase the number of Tunica-Biloxi tribal3 officers eligible for such additional compensation; to provide for an effective date;4 and to provide for related matters.5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6 Section 1. R.S. 33:2218.2(F)(2) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:7 ยง2218.2. Present law provides state supplemental pay of $500 per month to qualified full-time police officers who have completed one year of service and who are employed full-time by a municipality or by the Chitimacha Tribe of La., the Coushatta Tribe of La., or the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of La. Present law authorizes no more than 13 tribal officers of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of La. to receive state supplemental pay. Proposed law increases the number of eligible officers from 13 to 20.
