Regular Session, 2012 HOUSE BILL NO. 473 BY REPRESENTATIVE ABRAMSON SECONDHAND DEALERS: Creates an exemption in the secondhand dealer law for the purchase of musical instruments AN ACT1 To enact R.S. 37:1861(B)(introductory paragraph) and (6), relative to secondhand dealers;2 to provide for an exemption for dealers of musical instruments; and to provide for3 related matters.4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5 Section 1. R.S. 37:1861(B)(introductory paragraph) and (6) is hereby enacted to read6 as follows: 7 ยง1861. "Secondhand dealer" defined8 * * *9 B.
