PROBATION: Limits the number of active probation cases of a probation officer in Orleans
Parish
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 15:571.20, relative to probation officers; to limit the number of active2
probation cases assigned to a probation officer in Orleans Parish; and to provide for3
related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1.  R.S. 15:571.20 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6
ยง571.20.  Limitation on active probation cases; Orleans Parish7
Each probation officer in Orleans Parish shall be assigned no more than8
eighty-five active cases at any point in time.9
