AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 18:1484(2)(a), relative to campaign finance; to provide for2
persons required to file reports; to change the threshold for a candidate for any other3
office to be required to file; and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 18:1484(2)(a) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows:6
ยง1484. Disclosure reports; persons required to file7
Except as otherwise specifically provided, the following persons or their8
campaign treasurers, if any, shall file reports of contributions and expenditures as9
more specifically provided in this Chapter:10

(2) Each candidate for any other public office who does either of the12
following:13
(a) Makes expenditures in excess of five two thousand five hundred dollars.14
