EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS: Provides relative to servitudes for utilities during times
of emergency
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 29:740, relative to the Louisiana Public Service Commission; requires the2
Louisiana Public Service Commission to adopt rules and regulations related to3
servitudes on railroads during declared state of emergencies; and to provide for4
related matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1.  R.S. 29:740 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 7
ยง740.  Louisiana Public Service Commission; rules and regulations8
The Louisiana Public Service Commission may adopt rules and regulations9
for authorizing public utility servitudes on railroads for use during a declared state10
of emergency.11
