AN ACT1
To repeal R.S. 18:1311(A), relative to voting prior to election day; to repeal a requirement2
that the registrar of voters compile and post a list of certain information concerning3
persons who have applied to vote prior to election day; and to provide for an4
effective date.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. R.S. 18:1311(A) is hereby repealed in its entirety.7
Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not8
signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature9
by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana. If10
vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become11
effective on the day following such approval.12
