HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTI ON NO. 118
BY REPRESENTATIVE KATRINA JACKSON
A CONCURRENT RESOLUTI ON
To commend Pastor Ronnie L. Traylor upon his ninth anniversary as pastor of the Marion
Missionary Baptist Church in Marion, Louisiana.
WHEREAS, Pastor Traylor is the son of J.W. Traylor and Mr. Hardy and Dorothy
Traylor Staten; he was born in Monroe, Louisiana, where he has lived and worked
throughout his entire life; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Traylor accepted the call to preach the Gospel at the age of
twenty-eight and was ordained one year later; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Traylor served faithfully for four years as Youth Minister at the
Saint Mary Baptist Church in Monroe before graciously moving to the Marion Missionary
Baptist Church to serve as Under Shepherd; and
WHEREAS, in his nine productive and dutiful years at Marion Missionary Baptist
Church, Pastor Traylor has helped to increase his church's membership by more than two
hundred individuals; and
WHEREAS, in 2006, Pastor Traylor founded R.L. Traylor Ministries, Inc., which
oversees the P.R.O.M.I.S.E. Food Pantry, which provides food to more than two hundred
families in need each month; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Traylor is a devoted father to three wonderful children, Ariadne
Tamar, Rondarius Lamar, and Rontarius Jamar Traylor; and
WHEREAS, Pastor Ronnie L. Traylor merits a sincere measure of commendation
for his faithful and committed service to God and the members of the Marion Missionary
Baptist Church.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
commend Pastor Ronnie L. Traylor upon his ninth anniversary as pastor of the Marion ENROLLEDHCR NO. 118

Missionary Baptist Church in Marion, Louisiana, does hereby recognize the spiritual
leadership, inspiration, and guidance that he provides to his church and community, and does
hereby wish him full measures of success and happiness in the years to come.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to Pastor Ronnie L. Traylor.
