HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 91
BY REPRESENTATIVE HOWARD
A RESOLUTION
To commend the Anacoco High School girls softball team upon winning the 2012 Class B
state championship.
WHEREAS, the Anacoco High School girls softball team completed a sensational
season, earning the title of 2012 Class B state champions; and
WHEREAS, the Anacoco High School's 9-1 victory over Quitman High School at
Frasch Park in Sulphur on Saturday, April 28, marked the Lady Indians' first ever
championship win; and
WHEREAS, each of the Lady Indians performed at the highest level of excellence
throughout the season and playoffs and deserves recognition for her vital contributions to
the winning effort; and
WHEREAS, the Lady Indians' accomplishments during this unforgettable season
would not have been possible without the guidance and skills of coach Chase Stringer and
all of the other individuals who have contributed to the success of Anacoco High School's
softball program; and
WHEREAS, the team's outstanding season upholds the glorious tradition of the Lady
Indians, and all Anacoco High School alumni and fans recognize the immense pride and
distinguished honor that the team brings to its school, community, and state.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend the Anacoco High School girls softball team
upon winning the 2012 Class B state championship and does hereby extend best wishes to
the players, coaches, and everyone involved with this fine softball program as they celebrate
their exceptional season and prepare for continued success in the future. ENROLLEDHR NO. 91

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to Coach Chase Stringer.
