Regular Session, 2012 ENROLLED SENATE BILL NO. 212 BY SENATOR MILLS AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 37:1177(A), relative to the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy; to2 provide for a specific date for the beginning of the term of pharmacists who are3 appointed to the board; and to provide for related matters.4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5 Section 1. R.S. 37:1177(A) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 6 ยง1177. Terms7 A. Except as provided in R.S. 37:1175, pharmacist members of the board8 shall be appointed for a term of six years, beginning on July 1 of the year in which9 the appointment is made.10 * * *11 Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not12 signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature13 by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana.
