AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 56:105(A), relative to wild birds and wild quadrupeds; to2
provide for special permits and licenses; to provide for special permits and licenses3
for the entertainment industry to take and possess certain wildlife; and to provide for4
related matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1.  R.S. 56:105(A) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 7
 ยง105. Special permits and licenses; scientific or entertainment purposes; bow8
licenses; beaver permit9
A. The department may, in its discretion and upon such terms and conditions10
as it may prescribe, issue to accredited representatives of any public park, museum,11
educational or scientific institution, or of the federal government or any state12
government, recognized scientist, representative of the entertainment industry or13
to any other responsible person a permit to take, possess, and transport at any time14
within and from this state wild birds or the plumage, skins, nests, eggs, or young15
thereof and wild quadrupeds, the skins or young thereof; if the department is satisfied16
that they are to be taken or possessed for scientific, educational, experimental,17
entertainment industry, or breeding purposes only and are not to be sold or18
otherwise disposed of by the permittee for profit, and if the permittee obligates19
himself to deliver to the department within sixty days after taking, and in any event20
before the removal thereof from the state, a detailed descriptive inventory of the wild21
