AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 15:1110(E), relative to juvenile detention centers; to provide2
relative to the effective date for required license; and to provide for related matters.3
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:4
Section 1. R.S. 15:1110(E) is hereby amended and reenacted to read as follows: 5

E. On or before January July 1, 2013, all juvenile detention facilities,8
including facilities owned or operated by any governmental, profit, nonprofit,9
private, or public agency, shall be licensed in accordance with rules promulgated10
pursuant to the provisions of Subsection C of this Section.11
