LIMIT LIABILITY COMPANY. To provide that members of a limited liability company
be notified before changes are made in the records of the secretary of state. (8/1/12)
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 12:1303.1, relative to commercial regulation; to provide relative to limited2
liability companies; to provide for notification to individuals of certain changes; to3
provide for certain terms, conditions, and procedures; and to provide for related4
matters.5
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:6
Section 1. R.S. 12:1303.1 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 7
ยง1303.1. Notification to members8
Any information required to be submitted to the secretary of state9
pursuant to this Part by a limited liability company shall not be submitted to the10
secretary of state until after each member has been notified in writing of the11
submission and provided with a copy of such submission.12
