Regular Session, 2012 ENROLLED SENATE BILL NO. 612 BY SENATOR JOHNS AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 23:151 and 183, relative to the employment of minors; to2 provide for certain exceptions; to provide for employment certificates; and to provide3 for related matters.4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5 Section 1. R.S. 23:151 and 183 are hereby amended and reenacted to read as6 follows:7 §151. Application of provisions8 The provisions of this Part shall not apply to minors employed in agriculture,9 domestic services in private homes, nor shall they be construed as conflicting with10 any laws requiring minors to attend school. Relief from the disabilities which attach11 to minority shall not in no way defeat the protections extended by this Chapter to12 persons under the age of eighteen.13 * * *14 §183. Persons authorized to issue15 A.
