SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 152
BY SENATOR CROWE 
SENATE. Requires every senator who is a member of a conference committee to be
presented the conference committee report, sign it, and indicate if the member accepts or
rejects the report.
A RESOLUTION1
To adopt Senate Rule 13.21.1 of the Rules of Order of the Senate relative to conference2
committee reports; to require that every senator who is a member of a conference3
committee be presented the conference committee report, sign it, and indicate4
affirmatively whether or not the member accepts or rejects the report.5
BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana that Senate Rule6
No. 13.21.1 of the Rules of Order of the Senate to read as follows:7
Senate Rule No. 13.21.1.  Conference committees; acceptance or rejection of8
reports9
A. The report of a conference committee shall be presented to each10
senator who is a member of the conference committee for review and signature11
by the member.12
B. The report of a conference committee shall include beneath the13
signature line of each member of the conference committee an additional pair14
of lines designated as "Accepted" and "Rejected", respectively, one of which is15
to be initialed by the member indicating that the member either accepts or16

C. No conference committee report shall be submitted to the Secretary1
of the Senate unless each senator who is a member of the conference committee2
has signed the report and indicated by the member's initials that the member3
either accepts or rejects the report.4

Proposed senate rule requires that a conference committee report be presented to each
