SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 163

A RESOLUTION
To commend the Ouachita Christian High School boys track team for winning the 2012
Class 1A state track championship.
WHEREAS, the Ouachita Christian High School athletic program is one of the finest
sports organizations in the nation; and
WHEREAS, the Eagles of Ouachita Christian High School have dominated Class 1A
in football, baseball, and track for many years, bringing home various championships in both
boys and girls categories; and
WHEREAS, the 2012 Ouachita Christian High School boys track team proved once
again that they reign supreme in track and field events in the state of Louisiana.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby extend its highest commendations to the mighty Eagles of Ouachita Christian
High School for their many accomplishments in organized athletics, for conducting
themselves as the champions they are, and for winning the 2012 Class 1A state track
championship.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Ouachita Christian High School.
PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE
