SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 164

A RESOLUTION
To commend the Ouachita Christian High School boys baseball team for winning the 2012
Class 1A state championship.
WHEREAS, the Ouachita Christian High School boys baseball team has become a
perennial powerhouse in Louisiana, repeatedly winning championships at the district,
regional and state levels; and
WHEREAS, the Eagles of Ouachita Christian High School have distinguished
themselves on the baseball diamond and built a solid reputation as one of the very best
athletic programs in the country; and
WHEREAS, the players of the Ouachita Christian High School baseball team have
displayed great spirit, sportsmanship and great athletic abilities as they have mastered all
phases of the sport.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby extend its highest commendations to the players of Ouachita Christian High
School for a hard-earned championship baseball season, and for winning the 2012 Class 1A
state championship.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Ouachita Christian High School.
