SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 165

COMMENDATIONS. Commends the Ouachita Christian High School girls track team for
winning the 2012 Class 1A state track championship.
A RESOLUTION1
To commend the Ouachita Christian High School girls track team for winning the 20122
Class 1A state track championship.3
WHEREAS, the Ouachita Christian High School girls track team has proven itself4
to be one of the finest sports programs in the nation; and5
WHEREAS, the Lady Eagles of Ouachita Christian High School have dominated6
track and field events for males and females in the Class 1A division at the district, regional7
and state levels for many years, bringing home various championships and greatly8
distinguishing themselves in the process; and9
WHEREAS, the 2012 Ouachita Christian High School girls track team, repeating10
their 2011 championship season, were once again simply the best in the state of Louisiana.11
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana12
does hereby extend its highest commendations to the Lady Eagles track team of Ouachita13
Christian High School for their superb spirit, sportsmanship and talent in winning the 201214
Class 1A state track championship.15
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to16
