SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 165

A RESOLUTION
To commend the Ouachita Christian High School girls track team for winning the 2012
Class 1A state track championship.
WHEREAS, the Ouachita Christian High School girls track team has proven itself
to be one of the finest sports programs in the nation; and
WHEREAS, the Lady Eagles of Ouachita Christian High School have dominated
track and field events for males and females in the Class 1A division at the district, regional
and state levels for many years, bringing home various championships and greatly
distinguishing themselves in the process; and
WHEREAS, the 2012 Ouachita Christian High School girls track team, repeating
their 2011 championship season, were once again simply the best in the state of Louisiana.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby extend its highest commendations to the Lady Eagles track team of Ouachita
Christian High School for their superb spirit, sportsmanship and talent in winning the 2012
Class 1A state track championship.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Ouachita Christian High School.
