Page 1 of 1 Regular Session, 2012 ENROLLED SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 197 BY SENATOR CHABERT A RESOLUTION To commend and congratulate Kathleen Bordelon on her outstanding accomplishments while at Louisiana State University; express appreciation for her contributions to the work of the Senate for the past three legislative sessions; and extend best wishes to her for continued success in the future. WHEREAS, Kathleen Bordelon is from Houma, Louisiana, and a graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School; and WHEREAS, she is a 2012 graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a major in Communication Studies and minor in Political Science; and WHEREAS, while at LSU, Kathleen Bordelon was Student Body Vice President from April 2011 to April 2012 and was a member and vice president of Delta Delta Delta Sorority; and WHEREAS, for the past three years, she has been employed at the Senate during legislative sessions, most recently as session aide to the Senator from District No. 20; and WHEREAS, she has been invaluable to the Senator from District No. 20 in assisting him in the completion of his legislative duties. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend and congratulate Kathleen Bordelon on her outstanding accomplishments while at Louisiana State University; express appreciation for her contributions to the work of the Senate for the past three legislative sessions; and extend best wishes to her for continued success in the future.
