SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 35

A RESOLUTION
To commend Jay Paul Molinere as a great ambassador of Louisiana's outdoor lifestyle and
culture.
WHEREAS, Jay Paul Molinere is a Houma Native-American and Louisianian; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Molinere's son and family are the most important part of his life and
he strongly believes in his Native-American culture and their rituals; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Molinere loves to hunt, fish and to participate in just about any
outdoor activity, as he loves teaching his son how to hunt, fish and be a good person; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Molinere, along with his father, R.J. Molinere, are cast members
of the History Channel's hit reality show "Swamp People"; and
WHEREAS, he is a two-time Golden Gloves Boxing champion, regional boxing
champion, and undefeated MMA fighter; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Molinere represents the best that Louisiana has to offer as an
ambassador of its outdoor lifestyle and culture.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby commend Jay Paul Molinere as a great ambassador of Louisiana's outdoor
lifestyle and culture.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to Jay
Paul Molinere.
