SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 36
BY SENATOR CHABERT 
A RESOLUTION
To commend R.J. Molinere as a great ambassador of Louisiana's outdoor lifestyle and
culture.
WHEREAS, R.J. Molinere is a Houma Native-American and Louisianian; and 
WHEREAS, Mr. Molinere respects nature's gifts and uses her resources properly, as
he was born and raised in a small Native-American village with very strong ties to the land
and water; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Molinere loves people and loves to talk, is devoted to God and puts
God before everything he does, and holds family dear to his heart; and
WHEREAS, he is a devoted husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and uncle to
many special people; and
WHEREAS, he has lived most of his life off of the land's resources trapping,
shrimping, crabbing, and alligator hunting; and 
WHEREAS, Mr. Molinere, along with his son, Jay Paul Molinere, are cast members
of the History Channel's hit reality show "Swamp People"; and 
WHEREAS, in the one hundred fifty-four pound weight class, he is a four-time
World Champion arm wrestler, eleven-time National Champion, two-time Arnold Classic
Arm Wrestling Champion, and two-time GNC Champion; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Molinere represents the best that Louisiana has to offer as an
ambassador of its outdoor lifestyle and culture.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby commend R.J. Molinere as a great ambassador of Louisiana's outdoor lifestyle
