APPOINTED OFFICIALS. Clarifies the intent of Senate Resolution No. 89 of the 2013
Regular Session in designating the official charged with calling the organizational meeting
of the St. Tammany Parish Inspector General Task Force.
A RESOLUTION1
To clarify the intent of Senate Resolution No. 89 of the 2013 Regular Session in designating2
the official charged with calling the organizational meeting of the St. Tammany3
Parish Inspector General Task Force.4
WHEREAS, in Senate Resolution No. 89, the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana5
created the St. Tammany Parish Inspector General Task Force to study the feasibility of6
creating an office of inspector general for St. Tammany Parish.7
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana8
does hereby designate the parish president of the St. Tammany Parish governing authority9
to call the organizational meeting of the St. Tammany Parish Inspector General Task Force.10
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provisions of this Resolution shall supercede11
any conflicting provisions of Senate Resolution No. 89 of the 2013 Regular Session of the12
