SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 64

CONDOLENCES.  Expresses condolences upon the death of Frank M. Jordan.
A RESOLUTION1
To express the sincere condolences of the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana upon the2
death of Frank M. Jordan.3
WHEREAS, it is with deep sorrow that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana4
has learned of the passing of Frank M. Jordan on March 4, 2013, at age seventy-one; and 5
WHEREAS, he was born on April 26, 1941, the son of Malcolm A. and Delma6
Edwards Jordan, in Marion, Louisiana, and was a longtime resident of Central, Louisiana;7
and8
WHEREAS, he was retired from his longtime heavy equipment contracting business,9
but still loved his tractors; and 10
WHEREAS, Frank M. Jordan was an avid outdoorsman and lived for hunting,11
fishing, gardening, and his family; and 12
WHEREAS, while preceded in death by his parents, Frank M. Jordan is survived by13
his loving and loyal wife, Carolyn Hebert Jordan; one daughter Michele J. Browning, and14
her husband Brent; two grandchildren, Kelli S. Conerly and her husband Rayford, and15
Michael J. Browning and his fiancée Jamie Feig, and one great-granddaughter; one son,16
Steve, and two grandchildren, Sarah and her husband Ryan, and Brandon and his wife17
Meghan, and four great-grandchildren; two sisters and their families, Dewana J. Richard and18 SR NO. 64

Carol and Kenn Harrell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Patsy Hebert, Mike and1
Brenda Hebert, Mark and Carolyn Hebert, and Dennis and Mary Hebert, and numerous2
nieces and nephews; and 3
WHEREAS, Frank M. Jordan was a devoted and caring husband, son, father,4
grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend and his memory will live on with5
his family, friends, and those who had the opportunity to know him.6
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana7
does hereby extend condolences to the family of Frank M. Jordan.8
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to9
Carolyn Hebert Jordan.10
