Regular Session, 2014 HOUSE BILL NO. 1092 BY REPRESENTATIVE TALBOT INSURANCE/AUTOMOBILE: Provides for exclusion of certain vehicle occupants from uninsured motorist coverage AN ACT1 To enact R.S. 22:1295(1)(a)(v), relative to uninsured motorist coverage; to provide that an2 insurer may limit which occupants of a vehicle are covered by uninsured motorist3 coverage; and to provide for related matters.4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5 Section 1. R.S. 22:1295(1)(a)(v) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6 ยง1295. Present law provides that uninsured motorist coverage applies to all occupants of a motor vehicle.
