GERMAIN AN ACT1 To amend and reenact R.S. 40:1472.2(7)(d) and to enact R.S. 40:1472.2(7)(e), relative to the2 regulation of explosives; to add "exploding or explosive target" to the definition of3 explosives; and to provide for related matters.4 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5 Section 1. R.S. 40:1472.2(7)(d) is hereby amended and reenacted and R.S.6 40:1472.2(7)(e) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 7 ยง1472.2. Definitions8 * * *9 (7) "Explosives" means any chemical compound, mixture, or device, the10 primary or common purpose of which is to function by explosion. The term includes11 but is not limited to dynamite and other high explosives, black powder in quantities12 in excess of five pounds, pellet powder, initiating explosives, detonators, safety13 fuses, squibs, detonating cord, igniter cord, and igniters.
