AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 40:964(Schedule I)(A)(56) and (F)(15) through (28), relative to the Uniform2
Controlled Dangerous Substances Law; to add certain substances to Schedule I of the3
Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Law; and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 40:964(Schedule I)(A)(56) and (F)(15) through (28) are hereby6
enacted to read as follows: 7
ยง964.  Composition of schedules8
Schedules I, II, III, IV, and V shall, unless and until added to pursuant to R.S.9
40:962, consist of the following drugs or other substances, by whatever official10
name, common or usual name, chemical name, or brand name designated:11
SCHEDULE I12
A. Opiates.  Unless specifically excepted or unless listed in another schedule,13
any of the following opiates, including their isomers, esters, ethers, salts, or salts of14
isomers, esters, and ethers, whenever the existence of such isomers, esters, ethers,15
or salts is possible within the specific chemical designation:16

(56)  (N-(1-phenethylpiperidin-4-yl)-N-phenylacetamide) (acetyl fentanyl)18

F. Synthetic cannabinoids.  Unless specifically excepted, or contained within20
a pharmaceutical product approved by the United States Food and Drug21
Administration, or unless listed in another schedule, any material, compound,22
mixture, or preparation, which contains any quantity of a synthetic cannabinoid23

contain any synthetic cannabinoid salts, isomers, salts of isomers, or nitrogen-1
heterocyclic analogs, whenever the existence of such salts, isomers, salts of isomers,2
or nitrogen-heterocyclic analogs is possible within the specific chemical groups:3

Section 2. This Act shall become effective upon signature by the governor or, if not6
signed by the governor, upon expiration of the time for bills to become law without signature7
by the governor, as provided by Article III, Section 18 of the Constitution of Louisiana.  If8
vetoed by the governor and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become9
effective on the day following such approval.10
