LAW ENFORCE/OFFICERS:  Provides for special railroad law enforcement officers
AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 40:1379.1(G), relative to special officer commissions; to provide for the2
issuance of a special officer commission to railroad police officers; to provide for the3
term of the commission; and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1.  R.S. 40:1379.1(G) is hereby enacted to read as follows: 6
ยง1379.1. Special officers; powers and duties; concealed handgun permit; railroad7
police officer8

G. Notwithstanding the provisions of Subsections B and J of this Section, a10
special officer commission issued to a railroad police officer commissioned pursuant11
to 49 U.S.C. 28101, shall remain effective at all times during his employment unless12
otherwise revoked.13
