HEALTH SERVICES.  Provides for health care services providers. (8/1/14)
AN ACT1
To amend and reenact R.S. 40:2116.31(A) and 2116.32(A), relative to home health care2
providers; to provide for scope; to provide for licensing; and to provide for related3
matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 40:2116.31(A) and 2116.32(A) are hereby amended and reenacted6
to read as follows:7
§2116.31. Scope, purpose; definitions8
A. The provisions of this Part shall apply to all providers of home care9
services in the state of Louisiana. The purpose of this Part is to assure the provision10
of high quality home care to the residents of Louisiana this state in a coordinated11
and cost-effective manner through the promulgation of minimum standards by the12
Department of Health and Hospitals.13

§2116.32. Licensing of home health agencies; applications; fees, disposition of fees15
A. No person shall open, conduct, manage, or maintain an agency or16
