AN ACT1
To enact R.S. 44:4(48), relative to public records; to exempt certain jury selection records2
from public records; to exempt personal information of jurors from public records;3
and to provide for related matters.4
Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:5
Section 1. R.S. 44:4(48) is hereby enacted to read as follows:6

This Chapter shall not apply:8

(48) To questionnaires completed by members of a petit jury venire10
whether completed pursuant to the Code of Criminal Procedure Art. 416.1 or11
upon response to a subpoena to jury service. This shall not prohibit the12
dissemination of such questionnaires to attorneys licensed in this state. This13
shall not prohibit the dissemination of venire lists as required by the Code of14
Criminal Procedure Art. 417(B).15
