John Smith (SB 48) Act No. 365
Prior law authorized mayor's courts in municipalities to try all violations of municipal
ordinances and to impose court costs not to exceed $30 for each offense on any defendant
convicted of a violation of a municipal ordinance.
New law retains prior law and further authorizes the mayor of the town of Rosepine to
impose an additional court cost not to exceed $30 for each offense on any defendant
convicted of a violation of a municipal ordinance.
Effective August 1, 2014.
