SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTI ON NO. 86

A CONCURRENT RESOLUTI ON
To commend Mary Phaline Williams for her years of exemplary service as an administrative
assistant to The Honorable Dennis R. Bagneris Sr., Judge of the Fourth Circuit Court
of Appeals, Division C.
WHEREAS, it is with great pride that the Legislature of Louisiana recognizes the
dedicated public service of Mary Williams and acknowledges her continued commitment
to efficiency and integrity; and
WHEREAS, Mary Williams is a person fulfilled by her service to the appellate court
system, her family, her church, and her community; and
WHEREAS, Mary Williams is a compassionate person filled with the milk of human
kindness, a true and genuine friend to all those acquainted with her through her professional
and personal life; and
WHEREAS, Mary Williams is well known for her leadership, good works, spiritual
guidance, and Christian fellowship; and
WHEREAS, she sustains an abundance of family ministries in the church community
and acts as a touchstone of biblical wisdom for other faithful servants of the Lord; and
WHEREAS, Mary Williams began her spiritual odyssey when she was called to
God's service, to preach the scriptures, and to become a conduit of God's grace; and
WHEREAS, she preached her first sermon on December 31, 2005, and was later
certified in 2006; and
WHEREAS, in August 2013, Mary Williams became part of the Ministerial Alliance
of the Beacon Light International Cathedral of New Orleans; and
WHEREAS, she has touched the hearts of so many by means of outreach ministry,
bible study, and spiritual counseling; and SCR NO. 86	ENROLLED

WHEREAS, Mary Williams is eager to continue to perform God's will, helping to
reclaim souls for the Kingdom of Heaven; and
WHEREAS, Mary has many blessings in her life, that include a loving family of four
daughters, seven grandsons, and three granddaughters that she inspires with Christian
principles of love and forgiveness; and
WHEREAS, Mary Williams leads by example as a witness to God's love and mercy.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
commend Mary Phaline Williams for her many years of invaluable public service to the
Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal, Division C, and to The Honorable Judge Dennis R. Bagneris
Sr.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mary Williams is hereby commended for her
church work and community service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mary Williams continue in her chosen vocation
for many years to come.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Mary Phaline Williams.
