WHEREAS, Lance Corporal Wooley loved his country and all of the freedoms and liberties it provided its citizens; and WHEREAS, Lance Corporal Wooley felt a need to serve his nation and try to preserve the ideals and virtues that all Americans value; and WHEREAS, Lance Corporal Wooley enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps and loved his time as a member of one of the elite armed forces of the United States; and WHEREAS, Lance Corporal Wooley was also blessed with a wife, Jacqueline, a son Ian Alexander Wooley, and the upcoming birth of his daughter; and WHEREAS, Lance Corporal Wooley achieved much in the twenty-one years he lived and his loss leaves his family, friends and brothers in arms searching for some comfort to ease the pain they all now suffer from his absence. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby extend its deepest and most profound condolences to the family of U.S. Marine Corps Lance Corporal Christopher Allan Wooley on his death while serving his country. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to his wife, Jacqueline and his parents, Major Connie and Douglas Wooley of Orange, Texas. PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE
