Legendre and Wilton 5 Clay Legendre v. Madden Contracting Company, Inc., et al"; and to provide for 6 related matters. 7Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 8 Section 1. The sum of Thirty Thousand Six Hundred and No/100 ($30,600.00) 9Dollars is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal 10Year 2015-2016 to be used to pay the consent judgment against the Department of 11Transportation and Development in the suit entitled "Judith S. Legendre and Wilton Clay 12Legendre v. Madden Contracting Company, Inc., et al", bearing Number 39,236 on the 13docket of the Second Judicial District Court, parish of Claiborne, state of Louisiana. 14 Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2015; if vetoed by the governor 15and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1, 162015, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later.
