1 AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 33:4574(F)(9), relative to the Acadia Parish Convention and Visitors
3 Commission; to provide for changes to the tourist commission's board of directors;
4 and to provide for related matters.
5 Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published
6 as provided by Article III, Section 13 of the Constitution of
7 Louisiana.
8 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
9 Section 1. R.S. 33:4574(F)(9) is hereby enacted to read as follows:

14 (9) Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph (1) of this Subsection, the
15 Acadia Parish Convention and Visitors Commission shall be governed by a board of
16 eleven directors appointed by the governing authority of Acadia Parish.

1 Section 2. The governing authority of Acadia Parish may determine the initial terms
2 of additional directors provided for by this Act.
