HOUSE BILL NO. 25

APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT: Appropriates funds for payment of judgment in the
matter of "Zurich American Insurance Company v. Adrian D. Gourley, McLane
Company, Inc., Transco, Inc., Aon Rish Services Southwest, Inc., Gulf Engineers
and Consultants, Inc. and the State of Louisiana through the DOTD"
1 AN ACT
2To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2015-
3 2016 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Zurich American
4 Insurance Company v. Adrian D. Gourley, McLane Company, Inc., Transco, Inc.,
5 Aon Rish Services Southwest, Inc., Gulf Engineers and Consultants, Inc. and the
6 State of Louisiana through the Department of Transportation and Development"; and
7 to provide for related matters.
8Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
9 Section 1. The sum of Six Thousand Sixty-Two and 50/100 ($6,062.50) Dollars is
10hereby appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2015-
112016 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Zurich American Insurance
12Company v. Adrian D. Gourley, McLane Company, Inc., Transco, Inc., Aon Rish Services
13Southwest, Inc., Gulf Engineers and Consultants, Inc. and the State of Louisiana through the
14Department of Transportation and Development", bearing Number 17506, Division "E", on
15the docket of the Thirty-Second Judicial District Court, parish of Terrebonne, state of
16Louisiana.
17 Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2015; if vetoed by the governor
18and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,
192015, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later.
