TAX CREDITS: Repeals the income tax credit for purchase and installation of certain solar
energy systems

2To repeal R.S. 47:6030, relative to the provision of credit against the income tax for the cost
3 of purchase and installation of certain solar energy systems.
4Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1. R.S. 47:6030 is hereby repealed in its entirety.

Abstract: Repeals the provision of income tax credits for the purchase and installation of
certain solar energy systems.
Present law provides for a credit against income tax for the cost of purchase and installation
of solar electric and/or solar thermal systems at a single-family residence in Louisiana.
Proposed law repeals present law.
