R.S. 56:292 is hereby enacted to read as follows: 9 ยง292. Feral hog control 10 A. The secretary may enter into a cooperative endeavor agreement with a 11 landowner experiencing damage caused by feral hogs to share the cost of a bounty 12 on feral hogs taken on the landowner's property. Such agreement shall provide that 13 the department match the landowner's share of the bounty up to two dollars and fifty 14 cents per feral hog towards the total bounty offered and that the department only 15 participate when funds are available. No bounty shall be paid when funds, 16 personnel, or equipment of the department are employed in taking feral hogs from 17 the landowner's property during the term of the agreement. 18 B. The secretary shall promulgate rules and regulations, pursuant to the 19 Administrative Procedures Act, necessary to implement this Section.
