HIGHWAYS: Designates a portion of La. Highway 347 in St. Martin Parish in honor of
Albert "Pyook" Berard
1 AN ACT
2To designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 347 in St. Martin Parish as the "Albert
3 "Pyook" Berard Highway"; and to provide for related matters.
4Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
5 Section 1. The portion of Louisiana Highway 347 in St. Martin Parish, known as
6"Cecilia Senior High South Highway", between its intersection with Louisiana Highway 686,
7"Coteau Rodaire Highway", and its intersection with Louisiana Highway 328, "Anse
8Broussard Highway", shall be hereinafter known and designated as the "Albert "Pyook"
9Berard Highway".
10 Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
11hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation.
