APPROPRIATIONS/JUDGMENT: Appropriates funds for payment of judgment in the
matter of "Natasha W. Jackson v. City of Gretna and/or State of Louisiana through
the DOTD"
1 AN ACT
2To appropriate funds out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2015-
3 2016 to be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Natasha W. Jackson
4 v. City of Gretna and/or State of Louisiana through the Department of Transportation
5 and Development"; and to provide for related matters.
6Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7 Section 1. The sum of Three Thousand and No/100 ($3,000.00) Dollars is hereby
8appropriated out of the General Fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2015-2016 to
9be used to pay the consent judgment in the suit entitled "Natasha W. Jackson v. City of
10Gretna and/or State of Louisiana through the Department of Transportation and
11Development", bearing Number 677810, Division B, on the docket of the Twenty-Fourth
12Judicial District Court, parish of Jefferson, state of Louisiana.
13 Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2015; if vetoed by the governor
14and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1,
152015, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later.
