Cristel Crain and Canal Insurance Company" 1 AN ACT 2To appropriate funds out of the general fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal Year 2015- 3 2016 to be used to pay the amended consent judgment against the Department of 4 Transportation and Development in the suit entitled "Marquail T. Hollins v. Cristel 5 Crain and Canal Insurance Company"; and to provide for related matters. 6Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: 7 Section 1. The sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred and No/100 ($2,500.00) 8Dollars, is hereby appropriated out of the general fund of the state of Louisiana for Fiscal 9Year 2015-2016 to be used to pay the amended consent judgment against the Department 10of Transportation and Development in the suit entitled "Marquail T. Hollins v. Cristel Crain 11and Canal Insurance Company", bearing Number 591,007, Section 26, on the docket of the 1219th Judicial District Court, parish of East Baton Rouge, state of Louisiana. 13 Section 2. This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2015; if vetoed by the governor 14and subsequently approved by the legislature, this Act shall become effective on July 1, 152015, or on the day following such approval by the legislature, whichever is later.
