HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 116

A RESOLUTION
To commend Kyle Paul Stanley upon being named the 2015 Most Outstanding Tenth Grade
Student at Glen Oaks High School and upon his dedicated service to his church and
community.
WHEREAS, it is appropriate to commend Kyle Paul Stanley, a tenth grade student
at Glen Oaks High School, and to congratulate him upon being named the 2015 Most
Outstanding Tenth Grade Student; and
WHEREAS, he is the sixteen year old son of Robert and Kimberly Stanley; and
WHEREAS, he was raised in the Greater St. Luke Baptist Church under the
leadership of Reverend David Newman, Jr.; and
WHEREAS, at a very early age, Kyle knew that he wanted to become a minister; he
has delivered several sermons at various churches in the parishes of East Baton Rouge and
West Baton Rouge; and
WHEREAS, he serves as a junior deacon at the Second Mount Calvary Baptist
Church under the leadership of Reverend Robert London; and
WHEREAS, upon his graduation from high school, Kyle hopes to attend a Baptist
theology school to further his service to his church and his faith; and
WHEREAS, Kyle Paul Stanley merits a sincere measure of commendation upon
being named the 2015 Most Outstanding Tenth Grade Student at Glen Oaks High School and
upon his faithful and committed service to his church and community.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Kyle Paul Stanley upon being named the
2015 Most Outstanding Tenth Grade Student at Glen Oaks High School; does hereby
recognize the spiritual leadership, inspiration, and guidance that he provides to his church
and community; and does hereby wish him full measures of success and happiness in the
years to come.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
