HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 207
BY REPRESENTATIVE FOIL
A RESOLUTION
To commend Nathanael P. Kazmierczak on his outstanding academic accomplishments.
WHEREAS, Nathanael P. Kazmierczak is the son of Richard and Tamra
Kazmierczak; and
WHEREAS, on May 23, 2015, Nathanael graduated from Sequitur Classical
Academy and from Novus Homeschool Academy, with an unweighted 4.0 grade point
average from both institutions and first in his class at Sequitur Classical Academy; and
WHEREAS, while in high school, Nathanael served as a substitute teacher at
Sequitur Classical Academy; he taught Algebra 2 and drawing classes during periods of
teacher absence or illness; and
WHEREAS, his senior thesis, "Restoring the Creeds: How Standards of Faith
Promote Spiritual and Intellectual Growth", was successfully defended, and he received
honors for the best senior thesis and defense; his thesis has been submitted for publication
by Mud House Art and Literature; and
WHEREAS, Nathanael received a perfect composite score of 36 on the American
College Test (ACT), a perfect composite score of 2400 on the Scholastic Aptitude Test
(SAT), and perfect scores of 800 on the SAT Mathematics Level 2 Subject Test and on the
SAT Literature Subject Test; and
WHEREAS, he will attend Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he has
been offered six separate scholarships, including a National Merit Scholarship, the Howard
Hughes Medical Institute Scholarship for research, the F.F. Carl Heule, Sr., Scholarship, the
Llewellyn L. Cayvan String Instrument Scholarship, the Carol Lee Zylstra Memorial Church
Music Scholarship, and the Coram Deo Award for service potential; and

WHEREAS, Nathanael will pursue a double major in chemistry and music; and
WHEREAS, in addition to his many academic accomplishments, Nathanael is a
classical guitarist who enjoys playing for retirement home residents and his youth group at
the South Baton Rouge Church of Christ, and he is also an avid tennis player; and
WHEREAS, Nathanael plans to attend graduate school and hopes to pursue a career
as a professional research chemist; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate to commend and congratulate Nathanael upon these
many outstanding accomplishments.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby commend Nathanael P. Kazmierczak on his academic
accomplishments and does hereby extend to him best wishes for continued success and
happiness in his future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to Nathanael P. Kazmierczak.
