HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 36

A RESOLUTION
To express the condolences of the House of Representatives upon the death of Krischel Iman
Nance.
WHEREAS, it was with deep regret and profound sorrow that the members of the
Louisiana House of Representatives learned of the death of Krischel Iman Nance, on
Saturday, March 28, 2015, at the age of thirty; and
WHEREAS, born on January 16, 1985, she was the loving daughter of Rhoda M.
Justin and the late Kevin M. Nance; and
WHEREAS, she will forever be remembered for her strength and passion for life;
and
WHEREAS, Krischel Iman Nance leaves to cherish her memory her beloved fiancé,
Marlon J. Turner, and numerous family members, nieces and nephews, and friends; and
WHEREAS, although the death of Krischel Iman Nance has left a great void and
created a genuine sense of sorrow, her legacy shall forever remain in the minds and hearts
of all who knew and loved this extraordinary woman.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Representatives of the
Legislature of Louisiana does hereby express sincere and heartfelt condolences upon the
death of Krischel Iman Nance and does hereby extend enduring appreciation for the pride
and honor that this wonderful woman will forever bring to her family, friends, community,
and the state of Louisiana.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this Resolution be transmitted
to the family of Krischel Iman Nance.
