SENATE CONCURRENT RESOL UTION NO. 108

A CONCURRENT RESOL UTION
To commend the Legislative Auditor's office for winning the National State Auditors
Association's 2015 Excellence in Accountability Award in the Forensic Report
category.
WHEREAS, the National State Auditors Association (NSAA) is the premier
association of elected and appointed state auditors in the United States; and
WHEREAS, NSAA seeks to provide opportunities for the free interchange of
information and ideas among state auditors and to foster improvement in state government
through promotion of the observance of professional auditing standards in the conduct of
audits of governmental organizations, programs, activities, and functions; and
WHEREAS, to look further at those objectives, NSAA holds an annual competition
to recognize some of the most innovative thinking in the current state government auditing
environment; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Auditor's office was the recipient of NSAA's 2015
Excellence in Accountability Award in the Forensic Report category.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
commend Legislative Auditor Daryl G. Purpera and his staff for winning the 2015
Excellence in Accountability Award in the Forensic Report category.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Legislative Auditor Daryl G. Purpera.
