A CONCURRENT RESOL UTION
To commend Charles "Charlie" Adams for being named one of the top ten 2014 pilots for
Pilots for Patients.
WHEREAS, Pilots for Patients, based in Monroe, Louisiana, organizes pilots who
are willing to volunteer their time and money to fly patients in order to receive medical care;
and
WHEREAS, since its inception in 2007, Pilots for Patients has flown over twenty-
two hundred flights, free of charge to patients, and currently has a listing of one hundred five
volunteer pilots; and
WHEREAS, Charles "Charlie" Adams has been president of Adams Aircraft Repair,
Inc. since 1999 and Adams Flying Service, Inc. since 2008; and
WHEREAS, he has been a Pilots for Patients volunteer pilot since 2014 and has
flown twenty-eight missions.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of Louisiana does hereby
commend Charles "Charlie" Adams for being named one of the top ten 2014 pilots for Pilots
for Patients.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Charles "Charlie" Adams.
