win over St. Joseph's High School of Plaucheville, Louisiana; and
WHEREAS, the Hackberry Mustangs, winners of the state title in five consecutive

WHEREAS, after St. Joseph's added one run, Hackberry scored three more runs in
the bottom of the fifth with Broussard, Trahan, and Blanche and Brianne Beard contributing
to the rally and increasing the lead to eleven to six; and
WHEREAS, the game ended early on the ten-run rule when the Mustangs scored five
in the sixth inning with Stine connecting for a two-run single and Devall blasting a two-run
